2026 Scouting For Food

Scouting America-Mid America Council hosts an annual "Scouting for Food" food drive to help support the work of the Food Bank of Siouxland. This year's pick up day will be Apr. 18! If you receive a flyer saying a Scout will be by to collect your donation, be sure to leave non-perishable food items on your door step for a Scout to pick up.

What can you donate?:

• Cereal
• Canned vegetables
• Canned meat
• Peanut Butter
• Jelly
• Mac & Cheese
• And more!

If you do not receive a flyer you can also donate to the blue barrels at the Hy-Vee on Gordon, Hy-Vee on Sergeant Road, and Fareway on Sergeant Road.
